A videogame review on Call of Duty: WWII, by MathiRaj

As a child, I always wanted to play games for a profession and saw it as my dream job, now it has come true! Thanks to truth media and all you awesome readers! Before we get into the review, I’d want to make it clear that this review in no order promotes war, violence or videogame addiction.

The Call of Duty franchise has been one of the most outstanding first person shooter video game since early 2000s. Adding to this great franchise is the 2017 release Call of Duty: WWII, developed by sledgehammer games and published by Activision. This game was initially released worldwide on November 3, 2017 for Microsoft windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox one.

This game has both single player story mode and multiplayer battle mode, the graphics were pretty decent enough for the details to be clearly visible, the overall gameplay was amazing as usual.

The storyline as the name suggests revolves around the catastrophic World War 2. The game has twelve missions, each mission had a very interesting story, depicting the iconic history that had happened during the world war period. For most of the game we get to play as Pvt. Ronald Daniels (or) Red, who is a US military solider, from Texas. He along with his squad Pvt. Zussman, Pvt. Aiello, Sargent Pierson and Sargent Turner.

I really loved the way how they fused the life of a solider at war with the actual history, making the player go through a simulation of war feels like, the sound track they used for this game was really goosebumps inducing and boy let me tell you, they were great at it. I myself cried while playing certain scenes and learning the bitter hard truths of war. This game is a highly recommended one for all the FPS game fans out there, go ahead!
