A video game review on Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, by MathiRaj
To begin with, apologies for going AWOL for a long time. A few days back I completed this game and here we are with it’s review. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is an action-adventure first-person shooter video game developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks. It was released on 27 October 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and was released later for Nintendo Switch platforms. This game is the sequel for Wolfenstein: The new order. The overall gameplay had a very good flow with it’s prequel, by the way, If you haven’t checked out my review for ‘Wolfenstein: The new order' then check it out here on Truth media under the title “Glad they didn’t win!” With that being said, I must give a few spoiler alerts for those who haven’t read that review. For the others, let me begin with the graphics, it was pretty decent and well established, definitely better than the previous game. Once again, this game offers the same two plotlines named “Wyatt’s timeline” and “Fergus’s timeline” which you get to decide in the start of the game. The plot begins with B.J. Blazkowicz (as who we play) almost dying after killing Deathshead. But Caroline and team come to rescue the dying man. We then go into a long five month rest in our U-Boat. We wake up to see that General Engle had ordered her men to take over our U-Boat, so we put all our might and fight them back. This game had considerably few boss battles than the previous game, but the hostile mobs were pretty strong. Even the weakest ones took minimum three bullets to die, I am talking about the easiest game setting. Mid way through the Game, we get to choose a superpower for us which we will have for the rest of the game and the gameplay changes accordingly. You can choose this superpower based on your strategy. There was not only war throughout, there were pretty emotionally kindling scenes through the game too. game however felt like it ended quickly, but it’s just me saying, let’s see how it fits for you. Go on, check out Wolfenstein II: The new colossus!
And oh yeah, last game we went to the lunar surface, this time we go to Venus, and meet the ruthless Nazi dictator, Adolf Hitler.
Another holistic review for a video game covering all aspects more than that of a feature film, especially on the interactiveness
