Have you ever wondered what it takes to be a mother? To shower you with love, shape you with care and show you what's right and fair. It certainly isn't an easy task to put up an all fine face mask while a million thoughts flood in and she still multitasks but never at your cost.
This wonderful woman was once a little girl who indulged into her fantasies and grew up to give birth to what she wishes to call her masterpiece. And that masterpiece is nothing but you and I ! Every mother had her own struggles to fight through to get you hale and healthy into this sphere. Some accepted a hundred needle pricks, some natural birth, some under the scalpel, some had serious trauma and the list goes endless. However the tiny kick of yours when in womb gave her all hope to heal her wound.
When you're injured or fall ill she runs around muttering and complaining, clearly out of concern, on all that you could've done to avoid the trouble and still does her part of help. I wonder how they run like clocks! I still remember the days my mom woke up midnight to feed me my medicines that had to be taken in intervals, without an alarm !
In general, we are judged by our actions and not our intentions and a mother is a classic example whose actions are sometimes misunderstood despite her noble intention staying behind it. Your mom has always been there for you capturing pictures at every blink of hers, protecting you, playing with you and my mother, she gave me little real dough to flatten it using my tiny base and a roller that I had. I'd make rotis and she’ll pretend to eat them and tell me that it was yum yet steaming hot ! Similarly each one of us will have such unique memories that will never fade, be it days, years or decades.
They are doctors, teachers, pilots, or even indispensable homemakers, but once a mother forever one. Everybody lives a different story and every mother plays her part heroically, there's no room for comparison. Every mother has her own ways of expressing love, my mom asks me "what shall I cook for dinner?" when I have my breakfast ! She has her secret path to my heart through my stomach and she knows that. Give you little giggle doesn't it?
She would always say and pray that we progress peacefully with our values intact. Every progress of ours reflects a glow in her face and the same face would shrink whenever she sensed in us some pain. I believe every mother deserves those moments of happy tears filled with joy, being proud of her masterpiece.
Cradle like arm, hugs so cozy and warm, right from diapers to uniform to suits her love is everlasting and she is my mom. A mother is the incarnation of unconditional love given to us from above. She carried you in her belly for 9 months, her arms for a few years and in her heart forever.
The level of understanding of how any mother responds and reacts.... it was really as if you were in their place in their heart hearing all this out. Fabulous job Bhavana...... really touched me.
Oh ...made a bit teary eyed!! Can't do without them anyday...mummy!
She- the mother-is everything. Your writings are truly heart touching and beautiful. Just loved it bhavana. Saluting all the mothers!
