DREAM ZONE

roshnikr

Dreaming, waking up to a normal life,

Where mornings are busy amidst family strife.

Parents are ready for their daily schedule,

With kids to school, sharing a carpool.

The chime of the bells and the hooting hawkers,

The friendly banter from the nearby quarters.

A young lad zipping past with a pretty pillion date,

Attending lectures for which he is forever late.

The elderly are seen walking and joking,

The parks are full with the kids all chirping.

Tales from the old ‘bout their golden past,

And leave after having a morning blast.

Planning parties and travel destination,

Gate crashing buddies without hesitation

What was it that upturned the situation?

I'll pay you a fortune just for redemption!
