COFFEE - an addiction I can't let go .....

Coffee is a brewed drink prepared from roasted coffee beans, the seeds of berries from certain coffea species. Once ripe, coffee berries are picked, processed, and dried. Dried coffee seeds (referred to as "beans") are roasted to varying degrees, depending on the desired flavor. Roasted beans are ground and brewed with near-boiling water to produce the beverage known as coffee.

Coffee is darkly colored, bitter, slightly acidic and has a everlasting effect in humans, primarily due to its caffeine content.It is one of the most popular drinks in the world,and it can be prepared and presented in a variety of ways (e.g., espresso,latte). It is usually served hot, although iced coffee is a popular alternative and now the dalgona coffee is trending .

The earliest credible evidence of coffee-drinking as the modern beverage appears in modern-day YEMEN in the middle of the 15th century in shrines. It was in what is now Yemen that coffee seeds were first roasted and brewed in a manner similar to how it is now prepared for drinking. But the coffee seeds had to be first exported from East Africa to Yemen, as Coffea arabica is thought to have been indigenous to the former.. By the 16th century, the drink had reached the rest of the Middle East and North Africa. From there, it spread to Europe and the rest of the world.

Some days, your morning cup of coffee is the only thing pushing you out of bed, out the door, and into the ranks of productive society.

Okay, so I can’t imagine your day without that cup of joe. Frankly speaking , i am a self claimed coffee addict . The smell of coffee gets me going on track everyday . The smell of it brewing from far in the kitchen gets all my senses tingling . the morning cup of coffee served to me at bed by my mom is the way i start my mornings or sometimes survive all nights through .

My friends who i spend a lot of time with definitely know i love coffee (Deepta officially). The ultimate revelation is that i used to drink only tea during my earlier days . the day MAY 28th 2015 was the first time i tasted coffee and got stuck with it since then . I can rightly call COFFEE my first love ... Anyone who lives fast paced lives drinks coffee to keep up with all the races they run everyday . The ultimate need of coffee began when a lot of pressure built up on me to win almost everything in life . My previous school in mumbai had competitions almost every week . With the increase in the number of competitions so did my wish to win every competition became higher , at times when my mom used to finish giving me the scripts i would practice and one thing that supported at those times was coffee... long nights of practice and simultaneous cups of coffee ...

The amount of credit i would give any body of winning i would also say that the icing on the cake was my coffee..



Still to date as a 16 year old , i am addicted to coffee . imagining a day without coffee is like a day without sunshine as dim and grime as possible ,but not all of you would agree to whatever i say because many of us believe that coffee or rather caffeine is bad for us . I can tell you all that continuous intake of coffee does not let you sleep for days at a stretch , this may be useful for some but for many this may only be pushing the sleep cycle away ...

Frankly speaking , all of us whether we agree or not we are addicted to some drink to get our lives started . Many of us adore the first cup of filter coffee many of us drink in the morning or even the cup of milk or even horlicks or bournvita we drink is necessary to get us going .

Many of you reading this article today might believe that all this is only fake reality but all of us know somewhere subconsciously that whatever written here is true . Being addicted to something that gets you going or makes you productive for the rest of the day is not bad . Time and again we come across articles in the newspaper that tell us whether coffee is good or bad but in the same newspaper where you have studies that coffee is good you have articles that talk about something related to coffee . Even in the times of day before yesterday we can see an article that tells us that brewed coffee is good for us .
