Attitude is awesome to look at, but awful to work with

A movie review on The Devil wears Prada, by MathiRaj

Fashion to us by far means jumping into that one fancy dress to look sharp during a special event, or perhaps choosing that bomb outfit which could get our crush to like us back. But for the characters in this 2006 release, oh boy no, their definition of fashion is super complicated. The Devil Wears Prada, directed by director David Frankel. This comedy-drama film stars Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci in major roles. The location of this film was very ideal for the plot. The story is from the perspective of an aspiring journalist, Andrea, (Anne Hathaway) who gets a job in one of the biggest fashion magazine. She was to work as the assistant of Miranda Priestly, (Meryl Streep) a very influential person with unbelievable amounts of attitude. Andrea’s workplace is full of people who consider fashion as their world. Initially mocked for her carefree appearance and in-capabilities at work, Andrea then transforms to such a way that she fits in and does her job remarkably. Working in the industry that makes money out of the insecurities of people, Andrea slowly starts losing her true-self and becomes a workaholic. Will she prevent her life from falling apart completely, or will she lose herself completely? Go check out The Devil Wears Prada. Highly recommended, you people can watch it and know what fashion truly means, through which you could take some notes and get the best gift for your partner!
